Ewhurst Church Gift Day
Saturday 29 June, 8am – 1pm
Outside Country Stores, Hazelbank

Ewhurst residents will have a Ewhurst Gift Day leaflet delivered with the June  edition of News and Views.   The leaflet asks for your support with the maintenance of or beautiful old parish church. This is especially important now that the church has been placed on the “At Risk” register because of the poor condition of the roof and stonework.  We have a Heritage Lottery Grant to cover most of the repair costs to the Chancel and part of the Bell tower but the rest of the church is also in dire need of repair, the most urgent part being the South Transept roof and the rest of the Bell tower.

We hope you will support us and come along on the Saturday morning to meet members of the Ministry Team. We cannot do this without the support of the village.
