Remembrance 2020

UPDATED Tue 3rd November: After Boris Johnson's announcement in Parliament yesterday Acts of Remembrance will still go ahead this Sunday in the Parish. Church services will not be taking place but plans are in place for a filmed service to be available by 11am on Sunday 8th November.

In Ewhurst, there will be an Act of Remembrance  at 10.45am. Attendees must comply with current Covid guidelines - waering a mask and 2m social distancing - in order to provide a safe environment for all. Apologies, invitations were not sent out over the weekend of 31 Oct because of the Lockdown 2 announcement and subsequent confusion over whether the event could take place at all.

A collection will be donated to The British Legion or you can donate online at britishlegion.org.uk/get-involved/ways-to-give/donate

At Okewood, there will be a short open air service at 10.45am in the graveyard of St John the Baptist. Social distancing (2 metres) and wearing of masks is compulsory.

We are preparing a film for the church service. It will be available later on our Facebook page. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
